American Priorities


Take a look at the latest edition of TIME magazine. The European, Asian, and South Pacific editions have the cover story:

As Pakistan's urban middle class challenges Pervez Musharraf, Islamic militants are gathering strength in the nation's wild borderlands

The American edition, on the other hand, has the cover story:

The Case for Teaching The Bible
Should the Holy Book be taught in public schools? Yes. It's the bedrock of Western culture. And when taught right, it's even constitutional

Two possibilities:
1) The editors of Time have an amazing sense of irony.
2) The editors of Time don't have the slightest sense of irony.
